Frances "Louise" Cauthon - Obituary
Frances L. Cauthon, lovingly known as "Louise", passed this life on November 4, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 73. She was born on January 29, 1945 in Compton, CA to Nola Mae Sage and Jessie Granville Newton.
Louise received her education in the Tulsa School District and on April 16, 1966 she married the love of her life, Bobby Cauthon, and they spent 52 wonderful years together. Louise loved to travel and enjoyed going on vacations. In her free time, she liked to bowl and play pool. She was a great cook and also enjoyed working in the yard tending to her flowers. Lou was very proud of her 1962 Studebaker, which her husband restored, and won many awards at car shows throughout the years.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Teresa Goddard, three sisters; Linda Kay, Nora and Peggy, her brother Eddie, and granddaughter Summer.
She is survived by her loving husband Bobby of Muskogee; stepson Johnny Richerson of Muskogee; sister Sheila Roach and husband Coye of Warner. Left behind to mourn her passing are two grandchildren Tommy Craig and wife Amy of Muskogee; Brandy Brock and husband Roby of Broken Arrow. She will also be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren, Donovan, Dominic, Chandra, Antonio, Chloe, Keely, Samantha, Sabrina and Jayda. Many other family members and close friends will miss her tremendously as well.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, OK with Dorothy Moore officiating. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Okay Senior Citizen Center in Okay, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory Wagoner, OK.
