Fay Richardson, 90, of Muskogee, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born on December 23, 1930 to Frank and Mary (Tone) Tracy in Colby, Kansas. She was 1 of 14 children being the 3rd oldest. After graduating high school, Fay worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 7 years.
She married the love of her life, Asail Albert Richardson, on August 4, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas. They shared many years of life, marriage, love and many memories together. After her husband passed away she was all about family and friends.
Fay was a faithful member of Muskogee First Baptist Church. She volunteered for literacy and the food pantry at the church. Fay loved to read and enjoyed her many friends. She loved spending as much time as possible with her family and grandchildren. Fay will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Tracy; husband, Asail A. Richardson; sisters, Rose Lockler, Marylyn St. Pierre, Karen Smith, Jackie Elzo and Lulu Tracy; brothers, Harry Tracy, Tom Tracy and Dick Tracy; and great-grandson and special baby, Kaleb Hyslope.
Fay is survived by her children, Larry Richardson and wife Robin of Muskogee, OK, and Cheryl Gillispie and husband Curtis of Fort Gibson, OK; grandchildren, Crystal Richardson, Matthew Richardson both of Muskogee, OK, Tracy Marrs and husband Cody of Marathon, FL, and Stacy McNamara and husband Joey of Webbers Falls, OK; step-grandchildren, Samantha Williams and husband Paul and family of Fort Gibson, OK, Sarha Lawrence and husband Jason and family of New Market, MN, and Danny Gillispie and wife Kayla and family of Farmington, MN; great-grandchildren, Caden McNamara of Webbers Falls, OK, and Grayer Marrs of Marathon, FL; sisters, Avis Bates of Tomball, TX, Doris Balding of Muskogee, OK, Helen Waller, and Bobbye Savage-Weldon both of Weatherford, TX; brother Danny Tracy and wife Vicki of Muskogee, OK; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A celebration of Fay’s life will be 1PM, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor Anthony Roe officiating.
