On April 12, 1936, Elouise Jones (Woodfork) Wooten was born to Willie Jones and Aretha Goudeau Jones at Pierce,Oklahoma. She was the third of six children. 

She was born and raised in the Pierce community and received her formal education at Warrior school. She graduated from Rentiesville High School in Rentiesville, Oklahoma in 1954. Shortly after graduating, she was united in marriage to Curtis Eugene Woodfork. They had been courting since elementary school when he was ten and she was eight and they were blessed with seven children. 

Better known as “Tookie” which she was fondly called, centered her life around her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing,sewing,cooking, caring for her children and making sure the members of her family were well groomed and very well fed at all times. She was also a Master seamstress, making clothes, blankets and anything she put her mind to. She worked at White Stag for many years. 

 Later in life, she met and married Clarence Wooten. They enjoyed traveling cross country,going to rodeos and spending time with her grandchildren.   

After 83 Chapters of life, Elouise Jones Wooten passed from life to everlasting on Wednesday morning, August 21, 2019 from her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Aretha, an infant son Steven, brother Billy Jones, sister Miljean Stack and husbands Curtis Woodfork and Clarence Wooten. 

She leaves in God's care:   Six children, Michael(Charlene) Woodfork, Stanley Woodfork, Jeanine(Merald) LeDuff, Curtis Woodfork Jr., Conrad(Susan) Mitchell, and Joselyn(Duane) McClellan;  two sisters, Irma Jones ,Lillian Johnson and and Sister-in-law Ruby Pennington and brother Willie Jones; Six grandchildren, Fanta Thompson, Malca Woodfork, Steven Woodfork, Joshua and Joel Hornsby and Kristen Delligatti; . Eight great-grandchildren, Paxton and Sydney Thompson, Asha Truit, Jaidey Hornsby, Jolee Hornsby, Jackson Hornsby, Reagan Woodfork and Carter Delligatti; and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins and friends and her trusty sidekick, Snowball. 

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Tookies Life on Sunday, September 1, 2019 At the home of Merald and Jeanine LeDuff at 5:00 p.m.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning, August 29, 2019 at 9:00 AM in the St. Paul Catholic Church of Eufaula, Oklahoma.  Father KingsleyGeorge-Obilonu will be the Celebrant.
