Eloise Reed, 96

Born Sunday, October 8, 1922

Died Friday, September 6, 2019

Eloise Reed departed this life for her eternal home on Sept 6, 2019 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Eloise was born on October 8, 1922 in Lampasas, Texas.
She met the love of her life, Dean, in Feb, 1948. They were married a short 3 months later, creating a union that would last 53 years.
Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, a son, Jay Franklin, her twin sister, Louise (Judge) Akins and a granddaughter, Karrie Reed Major.
She is survived by children; Sharon Pellham (David), Tim Reed (Robin), Rebecca Lockwood (Robert), Jill Callahan (Michael); grandchildren, Myriah, Rachel, Matthew, Dean, Tressa, Emilia and Annabel and great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Carter.
A special thanks to her wonderful caregivers Robbie, Crystal, Cryshana, Ramona, and Tracy.
A celebration of Eloise’s life will be 10AM, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Chaplin Bill Crow officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Eloise believed the Lord left her “here so long so she could witness to people about Him.” With that in our hearts, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: Our Daily Bread Devotionals at ourdailybread.org.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee, OK. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com.
