Edith Mae Cobb - Obituary
Edith Mae Cobb was welcomed into this world on October 23, 1928 by her parents Willis and Winnie (Glenn) Jackson. She was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Edith began her early education in Kansas. Her family later moved to Oklahoma. She attended Stone Chapel School in Tahlequah, OK and later married Sylvester "Van" Cobb. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where they managed apartments in Casa Grande. During that time, Edith also volunteered to cook at a local church. They eventually moved back to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where Edith has resided for the past seven years.

Edith was a woman who was full of faith and strived each day to do the best that she could for God. She was a great cook and loving mother who cared deeply for each of her loved ones.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Willis & Winnie Jackson, her beloved husband, Sylvester "Van" Cobb, and three brothers; Troy Jackson, Don Jackson and Bobby Jackson. She is survived by her precious daughter, Angela "Angie" Veith, three grandchildren; Amy, Vanessa and Matthew, and nine great-grandchildren.

A ceremony to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:00 P.M., at the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, OK. Arrangements are under the care of the Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory.
