Died Monday, July 8, 2019

Esther “Pauline” Fox, 92, of Muskogee, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 8, 2019. She was born on December 7, 1926 to James Samuel Webster and Sylvia Webster in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Pauline graduated from Muskogee Central High School and then graduated from college in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pauline married the love of her life, Byron Fox, Jr., in January of 1964 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They were best friends and loved each other unconditionally.
She worked at Southwestern Bell for over 40 years and retired in 1987. Pauline was an active member of Muskogee First Baptist for over 50 years. She loved serving the Lord and was the church librarian, a Sunday school teacher and served on several committees. Pauline was very active in various community and social clubs including: Pilot Club, Knife and Fork Club, and Pioneer Woman’s Club. She loved to work with stained glass, gardening and dealing in real estate. Her greatest joy was her family. To those that knew and loved her, Pauline will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Sylvia Webster; and husband, Byron Fox, Jr.
Pauline is survived by her beloved special family, Chrissie Moore and husband Jim of Muskogee, OK, Richard Carter of Muskogee, OK, Amanda Johnson and husband Josh Johnson of Arkoma, OK, Cassie Nail of Muskogee, OK, and Dustin Carter and wife Ember of Fayetteville, AR; great-grandchildren, Katie Abby, Nathalya, Sahara and Emily; special extended families, The McMillan’s and The Edgmon’s; and numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of Pauline’s life will be 2PM, July 11, 2019 at Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Clint Hayes officiating.
