Delbert Campbell, 66

Delbert Campbell was born to Harvey and Hazel (Dugan) Campbell on May 02, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio.

Delbert attended school in Spiro, graduating from Spiro High School and attended Northeastern University. He later joined the U.S. army in 1975 -1977 where he was a sharp shooter and an expert in hand grenades, after returning home, Delbert married Judy (Lowe) Campbell. This union was blessed with 2 children.

Delbert was employed with the Department of Human Services as a Social worker for many years. After retirement, Delbert moved to Tulsa, OK. He loved to cook and listen to his jazz and blues.

On July 12, 2019 early in the morning he transitioned from his earthly life to his eternal home.

At heavens gates welcoming him home, his parents, Harvey and Hazel Campbell Sr., his brothers, Harvey Jr. and Anthony Campbell.

Remaining to cherish his memory, his son, Jay (Alicia) Campbell Sr. and his daughter, Anjoli Campbell of Muskogee, OK. He leaves 8 grandchildren, Keosha, Jalica, Tenesha, Jay Jr., Joshua, Jaruan, Javontae and Jordan all of Muskogee, OK; his four sisters, Vestella (Rogelio) Samuel of Glenpool, OK, Diane (David) Chatman of Tulsa, OK, Sandra (Larry) Chandler of Spiro, OK, Michelle Rucker of Pocola, OK. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be dearly missed.

A Home Going Celebration will be conducted, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 3 P.M. in Christ Kingdom Builders church, 1801 Baltimore St. Muskogee, 0K with Rev. Jerry Washington, eulogizing.

Interment with military honors will be Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Ft Gibson National cemetery.

Visitation, Friday 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for, by House of Winn-Muskogee.
