Died Friday, January 10, 2020

Deena Yvonne Stephens Bowles, 71, was born in Muskogee, Ok on May 15, 1948 to Louie and Cora Lee Stephens. She went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 10, 2020 with her family by her side.
She graduated from Central High School in 1966. She worked at the Banner Grill to earn money to purchase her first car, worked daycare at Boulevard Christian Church and in later years worked as payroll clerk/bookkeeper at Teel Laundry and Tinnin Construction. May 11, 1970 Yvonne married Jimmy Alan Bowles and they were blessed with sons, Mark Alan and Jeremy Dewain Wilson.
She loved to write short stories, she would also write down cute conversations she would have with her grandsons, Blake Wilson and Chase Lain. She would never turn down a card game and would sometimes stay up all night playing with her grandsons. When she would make her shopping list for you, it was a guarantee you would find drawings on them that were sure to put a smile on your face while doing her shopping. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandsons; they were her whole world. She loved them dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Louie and Cora Lee Stephens. Husband, Jimmy Bowles. Sons, Mark Bowles and Jeremy Bowles
Those left to cherish her memory are, her sister, Paula Sue Webster and husband Carl Jr, brother, Steve Stephens and nephew, Jerry Dewain Stephens of Muskogee. Her best friends, Katie Lee Webster (her niece) Terri Simmons, and her special cat, Bear.
Grandsons, Blake Bowles, Chase Bowles, bonus grandsons, TJ Ashwood, Tristin Ashwood. Granddaughters, Bailey Tiger and Raley Hawkins, Aunt Genevieve Boernecke
In addition, some very special people in her life that she aquired through her daughter in law Crystal Ashwood, her husband Howard, who she claims as a bonus son, and bonus son Jeremy Fortney. Her bonus brother, Cruce Simmons. Along with Numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 16th, 2020 at 2pm. Flowers may be sent to Cornerstone Funeral Home. Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 N. York St, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
