Clyde Oscar Oman Jr, 87

Born Sunday, October 30, 1932

Died Sunday, November 17, 2019

Clyde Oman, Jr. (Bud), 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Sunday November 17, 2019 in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was born October 30, 1932 to Clyde Oman, Sr. and Grace Gibbs Oman. He grew up in Muskogee where he attended Whittier and Irving elementary schools, Alice Robertson Jr. High and Central High School. He graduated with the class of 1950.
He proudly served in the United States Army from which he received an Honorable Discharge.
After returning home Clyde moved to Tulsa where he worked for Scott Rice Office Equipment until his retirement.
His hobbies included woodworking, hunting and fishing. He loved making a big garden and would share everything with neighbors and family in Muskogee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores; his brothers, John
Charles Oman, James Paul Oman, David Lynn Oman, William "Bill" Allen Oman Sr. and Steven Michael Oman; his sister, Rosemary Oman.
Clyde is survived by his son, Jeffrey Scott Oman of Tulsa Oklahoma; his brother, Jerry Oman and wife Shirlene of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his sisters, Patsy Davis, Linda Rozelle and husband James, and Karen Duke all of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Clyde will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with military honors.
