Clorine Lathrop, 77

Born Saturday, April 18, 1942

Died Friday, November 1, 2019

Clorine (Spencer) Lathrop, 77 was born April 18, 1942 in Prairie Grove, AR to James V. and Esther (Keller) Spencer and peacefully passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 in Tahlequah with her family by her side.
Clorine met, fell in love with and later married her soul mate, John Lathrop on August 30, 1969 in Stilwell, OK. Their marriage stood the test of time of 50 years, two months and two days. Clorine enjoyed quilting, her flower beds and was well versed in the art of cooking. If there ever was a need she was there to fulfil it. Clorine was ‘Mom’ to everyone’s children. Her love and devotion were evident in everything she did. She was a faithful member of the Azalea Church of Christ in Muskogee.
Clorine is preceded in death by her father, sisters, Shirley Davis and Earlene Nevitt; and brother, Mack Leon Spencer.
She is survived by her husband John of the home; sons, Scott Lathrop of Locust Grove, OK and Roger Lathrop of Sutherland, NE; brother, Bobby Spencer and wife Galetha of Stilwell, OK; grandsons, Heyden Lathrop of Tulsa, OK and Bently Lathrop of Sutherland, NE.
A memorial service celebrating Clorine’s life will be held 10:00AM Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel with Donnie Nero officiating.
