Clinton “Coy” Andrews, 76, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 with his family at his side. He was born July 14, 1945 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Charles Howard and Ruby Lahoma (Poteete) Andrews. He was a high school graduate from Wainwright High School in 1963 where he enjoyed playing basketball.
He was self-employed and worked as a master tile mechanic for many years.
Coy was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, pheasant and quail hunting but most important was spending time with his family and friends. He loved to make people laugh.
Coy married Pamela Sue Palmer on October 24, 1996 in Oktaha, Oklahoma. They shared more than 25 years of life, marriage and memories together.
He attended Eastern Heights Baptist Church until his health began to fail.
He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby Andrews; daughter, Marsha Andrews; brother, Kenneth Andrews and an infant sibling; sister-in-law, Lou Andrews.
Coy is survived by his wife, Pamela of the home; sons, Steve Andrews and wife Christy of Checotah, Dustin Andrews and wife Kelly of Holly Springs, NC, Mark Andrews and wife Cheryl of Muskogee; stepson, Brent Hunter and wife Samantha of Muskogee; stepdaughter, Summer Day and husband Lance of Kiowa, CO; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Boyd Andrews of Tulsa, Joyce Robertson and husband Doug, Debbie Dougan and husband Ed, all of Porter, Danny Andrews and wife Judy of Muskogee; along with many other family members and friends.

Coy’s life will be celebrated at 9:30AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Chris Jones officiating.
