Christopher “Chris” Michael Jahn, 42, passed away on May 1, 2021 in Muskogee, OK. He was born on September 24, 1978 in Augusta, Kansas to Kenneth Jahn and Cynthia Luise Smith (Cantu).
Chris was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Chris worked for the City of Muskogee in the Sanitation Department. He was a hard worker who was appreciated by many people such as Tom and Judy Young. No matter what time of day or night he would be there for anyone in need, including people he didn’t know. Anyone who had a problem could be fixed instantly with Chris’s positive and goofy ways. Chris enjoyed watching science-fiction movies/short videos, drawing board games, going for walks, helping people, and spending every moment with his family. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew him.
Chris is preceded in death by grandma and grandpa Cantu and grandma and grandpa Jahn.
He is survived by his wife Jacklyn Jahn of Muskogee, OK; step-son, Curtis Coleman; step-daughter, Kathryn Coleman; daughter, Mercedez Eldridge; father, Mike Jahn and Ming of Washington; mother, Cynthia Smith and Greg of Porum, OK; granddaughter, Maycee Coleman of Muskogee, Ok; brothers, Aaron Jahn of Porum, OK, Adam Jahn of Haysville, KS; sister, Amy Jim and Jeff of Muskogee, OK; nephews, Mason Jim of Muskogee, OK, Ryker Jim of Muskogee, OK; niece, Amillya Jim of Muskogee, OK; step-sister, Tina and Todd Ross and their family of Warner, OK; step-brother, Jessie Smith of Porum, OK and many family and friends.
Celebration of Life for Chris Jahn will be at 2pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating.
