You Don’t Really Know Me
On November 29, 1964 I was born to Wardell Smith and Wilma Ray Smith.
You don’t really know me, you don’t know me, my name was Carmelia Michelle Smith Wheaton. But everybody called me Grumpy. I’m the twelfth child in the line but the second of three.
But as I said before you don’t know me, I had for boys named Shawn, Wardell, Jessie, Raymond but we call him Lucky. You really don’t know me, I was born a “fisher of men” but my hearts love and soul mate is named Lee Anderson.
You really don’t know me, I keep trying to tell you but these few little words will start allowing you to see, I have loved and am loved by so many people it fills my heart with glee.
You don’t know me, I was raised in a holiness church and a follower of Jesus Christ, but just know that did not mean that I didn’t like to cuss, argue or fight.
You really didn’t know me and I hope that now you do a little more, I was even favored with lots of grandkids with plenty of potential in store.
You really know me, I had been praying to God that he’d take me from this painful world and I suffer no more for his sake now I am walking on golden street with the light shining so bright as I strolled through heaven’s pearly gates.
She leaves Lee Anderson of the home, four sons, Raymond Coleman, Shawn Mitchell, Wardell Melton, Jessie Melton all of Tulsa, OK, a lot of sisters and brothers, grandchildren, cousins, family and friends.
