Died Tuesday, April 6, 2021

Billie Jean (Followell) Davis, 89, of Fort Gibson, was born September 25, 1931 in Parsons, KS to Rex and Edna (Young) Followell and peacefully passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.
Ms. Davis received her formal education and furthered her education with two more years of college. She started her career in bookkeeping in Odessa, TX; moving to Mancos, CO; and set roots in Fort Gibson, where she worked as an Office Manager for Soper Eye Clinic. Billie enjoyed to read, watch television and loved anything elephant. Her collection of elephant memorabilia numbered in the thousands. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jim Followell.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Edward Tom Davis of Fort Gibson, OK and Chris Allen Davis of Huntsville, AL; a sister, Pat Hamilton of Fort Gibson, OK; grandchildren, Jessica Davis of Fort Gibson, OK, Tawny Hillis of Huntsville, AL, Shane Davis of Huntsville, AL, and Jacey Long of Andrews, TX; great grandchildren, Aspyn Thorton of Farmington, NM and Danny and Kira Hillis both of Huntsville, AL; nieces and nephews, and many friends.
The family of Ms. Davis are honoring her wishes to be cremated.
No services are planned at this time.
