Betty Marie Herbert, 93, of Eufaula, Oklahoma entered Heaven’s gates on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was born March 4, 1926 in Crowder, Oklahoma to Orpha Gragg and Mary Edith (Park) Parker.
Betty was a housewife and worked as a sales clerk in women’s clothing.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eufaula where she faithfully served for many years.
She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Herbert; siblings, Jean Anthony and Jim Parker; grandson, Jonathan Heath Herbert; and granddaughter, Sherry Waters.
Betty leaves behind her daughter, Vicki Schaff of Broken Arrow; son, Jonathan Bruce Herbert of Eufaula; grandsons, Jeffery Todd Warren, Victor A Herbert, Kenneth Herbert, Chad Lynn, all of Eufaula, and Eric Cook of Tyler, TX; numerous great-grandchildren, sister-in–law, Lois Parker of Henryetta; brother-in-law, Hugh Anthony of Paris, TX.; and other family members who will miss her dearly.
A graveside service for Betty will be 11AM, Monday, July 22, 2019 at Hanna Cemetery in Hanna, Oklahoma with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating.
