Bennie Duane Pittman III, 46, of Oktaha, OK passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born on April 25, 1974 to Bennie Duane Pittman, Jr. and Donna Kay (Miller) Pittman in Muskogee, OK. Ben attended public school and graduated from Oktaha High School. He then worked at the Muscogee Creek Nation Casino as a Sgt. Of Security for many years.
Ben enjoyed civil war reenactments with his boys and wood working. He was a member of the Checotah Masonic Lodge #86 and a member of the Bedouin Shrine in Muskogee, OK. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family. Ben will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Eagletayl Pittman and Jesse Therman Pittman; paternal grandmother, Grace (Redeagle) Pittman; maternal grandmother, Susie (Taylor) Miller; and a very special aunt, Lena (Tudy) Skaggs.
He is survived by his children, Taylor Ford Pittman of Oktaha, OK, Tanner Fox Pittman and wife Haley of Catoosa, OK, and Trapper Folsum Pittman of Oktaha, OK; father, Bennie Duane Pittman, Jr. of Oktaha, OK; mother, Donna Kay Pittman of Oktaha, OK; paternal grandfather, Bennie Duane Pittman, Sr. of Oktaha, OK; maternal grandfather, Elza T Miller and wife Mary of Muskogee, OK; aunts, Linda (Pittman) Puckett and husband Charles of Oktaha, OK, Glenna (Miller) Murr and husband Jerry of Wainwright, OK, and Beverly (Ann) Newton and husband Michael (David) of Checotah, OK; numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at a later date.
