Barbara Sue Haynes, 72, of Muskogee, OK passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was born February 11, 1949 in Amity, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Waylan Anders and Mattie Partridge. She attended and graduated from public schools in Mena, AR.
Barbara married the love of her life, Frank Haynes in Muskogee, Oklahoma on May 8, 2012 by Judge Norman. They shared many happy years of marriage and memories together.
She drove a truck for 20 years across the country. She loved her truck named Tommy. Barbara later retired and took care of her home for the rest of her life.
She loved working on her yard, working with her flowers, keeping her house clean and beating Frank at dominos. She also loved spending her time with her baby, Monkey. She loved decorating her house and forcing Frank to go to yard sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Waylan Anders and Mattie Partridge; sister, Delois Willis; brother, Jimmy Buckley; child, Monkey Haynes; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and special friend, Brenda Rose.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Haynes; children, Walter Dewayne Tallant, Jason Scott Tallant, Kathy Sue Chamberlain, Lori Haynes, Connie Kenyon and husband Art, Bobbie Sue Rose, Robin Whittle and husband Chris, and Robert Edmond Rose; siblings, Winnie Ann Hughes and husband Bill, Ellen Belcher and husband Steve, David Chote and wife Barbara; brothers/sisters-in-law, Frances Sandal and husband James, Fred Haynes and wife Nan, and Floyd Haynes and wife Judy; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be 2pm, Friday, July 23, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Dunn and Rev. Cecil Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.
