Funeral services for Barbara Jean Howell, 85 of Muskogee will be held at 1100 a.m. Friday 19 Jul 2019 at York Street Christian Church with Gene Thompson officiating. Arrangements are under the directions of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory
Barbara Jean Howell was born 5 Sept 1933 in Muskogee, Oklahoma the daughter of Isaac Mullins and Sabra (Busby) Mullins and died 7 Jul 2019 in her forever home Muskogee, Oklahoma.
After graduating from Central High School, Muskogee, Ok
She married Arthur Joe Howell who was the love of her life.
Barbara married into the Air Force Family. They were station at Vance AFB, OK, Greenville AFB, MS, Washington Nation Gravity Point Airport, VA, Andrews AFB, MD, Kirkland AFB, NM, Toul-Rosieres AFB, France, Mountain Home AFB, ID, Urdon AFB, Thailand, RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge, UK England, Dyess AFB, Tx, and Tinker AFB, Ok. She loved her travels all over the world.
She loved gardening, bowling, knitting, fishing, cooking, sewing and most of all raising her family.
Survivors include her two daughters and son. Patty Bixby and husband Steven of Texas, Brenda Burleson and husband Dale of Oklahoma, Bill Howell and wife Melanie of Oklahoma.
Survivor’s two brothers and two sisters. Dan Mullins and wife Marilyn of Oklahoma, Ed Mullins of Oklahoma, Sandy Day of Oklahoma, Margie Richerson of Oklahoma. She has ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents Isaac and Sabra Mullins, Brothers Bob Mullins, Jim Mullins. Her husband Arthur Joe Howell and daughter Debbie Ann Cotton. Brother-in-law Larry Richerson.
