Audrey Lou (Eaton) Ewing went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 22, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 11, 1936, to Carl Wilburn Eaton and Sarah Ann (Moore) Eaton in Colorado City, Texas.
She graduated from high school in Midland, TX and married Hodges Feaster in 1954. From that union, she had two sons and one daughter. Hodges was killed in an industrial accident in 1962. In April of 1965, she married Andy Ewing, a widower with three children. They adopted each other’s children blending into one family.
In 1971, they moved to Muskogee, OK where they owned and operated a Toyota dealership until 1997 and an Oldsmobile-GMC dealership in Wagoner, OK from 1987-2003. Audrey managed the offices/bookkeeping for both stores for thirty-two years. In May of 2010, Audrey and Andy moved to Tahlequah, OK where they lived until returning to Muskogee in 2013. In 2020, they moved to Oklahoma Methodist Manor, now known as Trinity Woods Retirement Community, in Tulsa, OK.
Audrey was always active in her church and community. After she and Andy retired from the automobile business, they were members of the Roving Volunteers in Christ’s Service, an interdenominational Christian organization. For ten years, they traveled in their R.V. and did missionary service work in churches, conference centers and children’s camps across the United States and several places in Canada.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hodges Feaster; son, Tony Feaster Ewing; parents, Carl and Sarah (Sadie) Eaton; sister, Marjorie Jamison and brother, Wilburn Eaton.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Andy Ewing; sons, Terry Ewing and wife Shaun, Steven Ewing and wife Emma; Stanley Ewing and wife Susan; daughters, Tammy Ewing , Stacy Sprinkle and husband Jim; brother, John Eaton and wife Geneva; grandchildren, Blake Ewing and wife Julie, Tony Ewing and wife Anastasia, Garrett Ewing and wife Alexa, Andrea Mendez and husband Jhonatan, Brad Ewing and wife Bonnie, Kevin Ewing and wife Alyssa, Brent Ewing and wife Natasha, Kelly Ewing, Nick Ewing and wife Rachel, Sarah Acosta and husband Warren, Alex Ewing, Audra Greene and Noah Sprinkle; bonus grandchildren Miles Alexander Krabill and Emily Marie Krabill, Jessi Schmidt-lgwebuike and husband Thomas, Chas Schmidt, Alicia VanDine and Marshall Sprinkle; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Scout and Indie Grace Ewing, Hazel Maddox Ewing, Rio and Hazel Mendez, Miles Andrew and Tessa Jean Ewing, Ruby Alice and Luna Michele Ewing, Aisha, Ismerelda, Camilla and Z’Mar Acosta. Bonus-great-grandchildren, Malakai Hibler, Ayriana Ashton, Jennessa and Jayla lgwebuike; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Muskogee, OK.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Muskogee, OK with Bro. Billy Parker of Fellowship Bible Church, Fort Gibson, OK, and Bro. John Lee of Park Hill Baptist Church, Tahlequah, OK, officiating. Following the service, all attendees are invited to stay for lunch and fellowship in the Dining Hall at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Plumbline Ministries at 8990 S. Sheridan Rd., Suite A, Tulsa, OK 74133 or Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children at 12700 E. 76th St. N., Owasso, OK 74055.
