Anthony H, “Tony” Kolmer, III, 63, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Anthony H. Kolmer, Jr. and Norma Jean (Jones) Kolmer on July 29, 1956. On June 6, 2009 he married Kathryn Faye (Mannon) Kolmer, spending over 19 memorable years together.
Tony worked as a Financial Planner for many years and retired from Financial Planning Associates in 2016. Some of his favorite hobbies included shopping on Amazon, fishing, watching The Andy Griffith show, Syfy movies, and the St. Louis Cardinals. As his time to go to Heaven approached, he longed to go to Minnesota, like he did when he was younger with his dad.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Henry Kolmer, Jr. and Norma Jean Kolmer.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Kolmer of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughters, Jennifer Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Kelly Kolmer of Panama City, Florida; son, Anthony Henry Kolmer, IV and wife Leslie of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; grandkids, Peyton Turcott of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Addyson Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Gemma Kolmer of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Anthony Henry Kolmer, V of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Dylan Spriggs of Panama City, Florida, and Beckham Kolmer of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; and brothers, John Kolmer of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Tom Kolmer and wife Julie of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
A Rosary will be held 5:30-7:30pm Monday, February 3, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A celebration of Tony’s life will be held 10:00am Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Cristler officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with JJ Kolmer, Nick Harnage, Matthew Whitehead, Kevin Anthis, Matt Allen, and Dason Morgan serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews, Michael Kolmer, Haden Kolmer, Rhett Kolmer, Chris Sanner, and Ben Sanner.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee, OK. Condolences may be made to the family online at
