Anthony Earl “Pat” Patrick of Wainwright, Oklahoma passed away at the age of 90 on Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born on January 8, 1930 in Raton, New Mexico. He grew up in Roy, New Mexico until his early teen years. The family then moved to Montrose, Colorado where he became a high school track star.
After high school, Pat joined the Navy and served three and a half years on the U.S. Manchester during the Korean War. During this time, he married Ruth Lucille Burns and they had a daughter, Billie. They made their home in Santa Rosa, California.
After his military service, Pat was a manager for H. S. Kress Company to restore and renovate their stores. He later became an accomplished builder and contractor. It was during this time his wife, Ruth, passed away.
In 1976, Pat met and married Sue Ellen Sedano and they continued to live in Santa Rose while he continued working in the carpentry field. He was very active in the Knights of Columbus and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
After retiring in 2007, Pat and Sue moved to Wainwright, Oklahoma where he donated his time and talents in the Wainwright community. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Agnes, and Clara Patrick; and brother, John Patrick.
Pat is survived by his wife Sue Ellen of 44 years; daughter, Billie Patrick; sister, Irene Williams; stepsons, Hector Sedano and Mike Sedano; stepdaughter, Lisa Sedano; and multiple loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat’s family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.
