Anita Jean Rigler,92, passed away on June 6, 2021. She was born on July 11, 1928 to Andrew and Emma Flickner in McPherson, Kansas.
Anita married Kennith Eugene Rigler in September 1955 in Marion, Kansas.
Anita graduated college with a master’s degree in elementary education. She dedicated her life to teaching and retired in the 1990’s. Anita was a great organist and played at Trinity Methodist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star, Cruisin Angels Car Club, Breakfast Optimist, Oklahoma Antique Tractor Association and Wesley Guild.
Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Kennith Rigler; daughter, Sherri and grandson, Andy.
She is survived by her son, James Rigler of Muskogee, OK; daughter-in-law, Susan Young of Muskogee, Ok, numerous nieces and nephews, and a great- great niece Aniyah Phillips.
Memorial service will be held 10 am Friday, June 11, 2021 at Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion with Cody Robinson and Jinx Barber officiating. Larry Ross, Gene Dye, Randy Worden, Gary Fields, Blake Falling and Dylan Falling will be Honorary Pallbearers.
