Allen Wesley Gardner passed away on September 8, 2021 in Muskogee, OK. He was born on February 14, 1950 to George Wesley Gardner and Loretta Ashley in Anchorage, AK.
Allen joined the United States Army in 1968. After the military he began his career. He worked several different jobs before starting a hobby in photography. This remained his passion in the later years of his life.
Allen enjoyed fishing, photography and riding his Harley. He loved his faithful companion (dog) Cheyenne who went with him everywhere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Loretta Gardner; brother, Mike Gardner; sister, Nancy Gardner, brother-in-law, Russell Allen and nephew, Mark Holloway; grandchildren, Rebecca, Daniel, and Cody Leonhart and daughter, Penny Ann Gardner.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jolynn Miller (Thomas); granddaughter, Josephine Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Keith Gardner (Robin); grandchildren, Joshua Gardner, Dallas Gardner, Cheyenne Gardner, Bentlie Gardner, Rowan Gardner; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Nylen (Courtney); grandchildren, Alissa Nylen, Jeremy Nylen and Aspen Breaux; son and daughter- in -law, Kenneth Nylen (Jennifer); son and daughter-in-law, Richard Gardner (Airreal); daughter and son-in-law, Tracey Gardner-Winters(Bobby); grandchildren, Theodore Yousef, Brianna Winters, Justin Winters; grandchild, Zachary Peck; great-grandchildren, Cody Gardner, Liam Gardner, and Finley Gardner; sister, Jamie Allen; nieces and nephews, Gardner, Alsadi, Holloway and Dillard.
Graveside services will be held 12 P.M, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor Terry Kuykendall officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Gardner, Richard Gardner, Robert Nylen, Kenneth Nylen, Joshua Gardner and Dallas Gardner.
