Died Monday, June 24, 2019

Alan Page Russell passed away in Euless, Texas on June 24, 2019. He was Born in Liberal, Kansas on August 6, 1938 To Elizabeth Alice Jordan and Winton Page Russell.
After high school in 1958, Alan served four years in the The United States Air Force where he was introduced to good French wine. After that he built a career in the wine industry and traveled the world tasting and enjoying wine and life from which he retired in 2002.
In 2008 he move to France and back home in 2013 to be near family. Alan had many interests: he loved good food, horses, sailing, photography, backpacking, skiing, the company of family and friends, and of course good wine. He was an avid reader and loved his Cherokee ancestry.
He is preceded in death by his parents Winton and Elizabeth Russell, his sister Linda Elizabeth Russell Moore, his first wife Nancy Ann Ely and their son Joseph Evan Russell.
He is survived by his daughters; Anne Piccirillo of Gustine, California, Gigi Webb of Maysville, Oklahoma, Laurinda Russell of Garland, Texas, Jennifer Gammill of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Amanda Harris of Euless, Texas. Granddaughters; Shelby Page-Russell, Laura Webb, Eleanor Piccirillo. Grandsons; Jeffrey Roybal, Page and Thomas Harris and niece Libby Culpepper. He is also survived by his second wife Raleigh Mosley, and longtime friend Joanna Felder.
