Four people were shot in Haskell early this morning according to emergency workers.

Two of the victims were taken to Muskogee and two were taken to Tulsa hospitals. It is unclear if they are the same two people.

UPDATE: The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation released the following:

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 6:30 this morning in Haskell, Okla. Haskell Police Chief Michael Keene requested assistance after the incident which took place in the 300 block of West Hickory.

Several people came to a residence at that location and attempted to kick in the door. There was an exchange of gunfire and four people were injured. Those four are being treated at the hospital in Muskogee.

The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE: The OSBI says it has arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting after he was treated at Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee. He is currently in the Muskogee County Jail.
